This photo of an "Brrr" ice cream tattoo face disgraced, repeat felon Gucci Mane who was recently released from a mental institution needs no blog commentary. It speaks for itself. My only question is: WHAT THE F*CK IS GOING ON?

The Gift of Liberation: Thank You HARRY T. MOORE

Civil Rights Activist Harry Tyson Moore was murdered in a bombing on Christmas in 1951 in Titusville, Florida with his faithful wife Harriette V. Moore while asleep in their bedroom. The cowardly killers stole their gift of life 59 years ago. This was the 12th race-related bombing in the state that year. Moore pursued justice for the “Groveland Four” who were accused of raping a white woman in July of 1949. One of the accused was killed during the Madison County manhunt; another was killed while in the sheriff’s custody traveling along Highway 146, and a third was gravely injured as well.
Despite the harsh reality of the times, Harry T. Moore stood up for his people. Florida may have been a ‘tropical paradise” for some of unearned privilege, but for oppressed people it was filled with terror as racists routinely killed and maimed those simply trying to enjoy the gift of life. As racists distributed “coon cards” for the holidays depicting Blacks in demoralizing illustrations, Harry T. Moore continued to resist racial oppression. Many of these symbols of tyranny are considered collector’s items today and are prized memorabilia to those who hold onto their heritage of hatred against Black people.
The Honorable Harry T. Moore was born a native of Houston, Florida on November 18th 1905 and is today remembered with the Harry T. Moore Social Service Center. Located in Titusville, Florida the center provides outreach social services such as; housing rehabilitation, assisted-living for the disabled, family counseling and early learning services for the community and serves as a reminder for the sacrificial life of service and commitment to the liberation of oppressed people by Harry T. Moore.
He graduated from Florida Memorial College, taught in Cocoa, Florida and went on to become principal of the Titusville Colored School. A champion for change, Harry T. Moore launched the Brevard County chapter of the NAACP in 1934 to address the unfair wages and lynchings of Black people. 10 years later in 1944, he formed the Florida Progressive Voters League which enabled disenfranchised people to use the ballot to protest the horrible day-to-day conditions they faced in the racially divided South. A community organizer, his efforts led to him being fired in 1946, but he was not deterred. Moore continued his mission to improve the conditions of his people. In 1948, he was rewarded with the great accomplishment of helping the NAACP register 10,000 people in the state of Florida.

Is this the Do-Nothing Generation? Are today’s young people so dumb down that they’ve lost their will to fight against injustice? Perhaps all that time misspent playing video games, updating their status and trying to get their swag on has resulted in the most socio-politically disconnected generation ever…
As Sophia Stewart the Oracle who wrote The Matrix says, we must “reverse the polarity” on the liars who spread untruth. Speak truth to power. Do not remain a victim simply because you’ve been victimized. Once you learn of your affliction begin the process of healing by revealing your truth. Walk in that truth. Personify the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
A cipher is a circle consisting of 360 degrees. 3 + 6 = 9 which is the number of months from conception to birth through the chamber of creation (womb). This represents the circle of life. When someone takes on the name “Cipher” they are declaring that they are complete. They have been birthed and brought to fullness. They have raised themselves to ‘new life’.
The issue with DJ Cipha Sounds (aka Luis Diaz) is that he is a complete sellout to those who gave life to what he calls a career. He has used his “sound” platform to demean women who are the matrix of creation. To have someone whose name metaphysically represents the “womb of amplification” speak death against life givers is an unpardonable sins against the co-creators of what we call life. We cannot allow his utterances to go unanswered. He must be called into account for the damage that he has inflicted upon the gateways of young women by speaking death. This crime against our people cannot, will not go unchallenged. He must be dealt with in the most constructive manner so that we others might learn a productive principle. You cannot speak death against life-givers.
Cipha Sounds must be muted. His platform must be disconnected. He must be dismantled.
In the movie The Matrix the character Cipher betrays his comrades. He sells them out because he cannot face reality. Even though they’ve placed themselves in harm’s way to give him new and true life, he makes a deal with the machines to become a modern-day Judas. Why? He wants to be plugged back into The Matrix, which is an “alternate” reality. He wants to avoid the truth for fantasy.
Similarly, Cipha Sounds also wants us to swallow the “blue pill” of indifference. He thinks that he can pacify us with cleverly worded apologies to silence the cries of life-givers. Cipha thinks that we will forgive what is unforgiveable. We won’t.
Cipha Sounds has misused his frequency to amplify a death vibration. His negative words can possibly kill a generation. Everyday, he broadcasts misinformation from above on the airwaves into the impressionable minds of our precious young people who are below seeking guidance. Cipha has been assigned to convert them into dumb people.
Unthinkers. Robotic doers. Machines.
We must resist the machine makers. He is an agent that adds to the chorus of dissension against the Black family. His unfunny jokes add to the insanity that has taken a stranglehold on disenfranchised people of color. He is an agent of disinformation. We must not make light of this reality.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?If you’re a concerned citizen raise your voice. Amplify your thoughts in the blogosphere. Create a webpage. Call your local representatives to get them involved. Update your Facebook status with links to Youtube clips about the ongoing efforts. Bring together people in your community to discuss strategies to inform others. Pick up the phone and talk to others. Text them updates. Send out email blasts. Record podcasts and tweet links to your social networks. Get the word out. Create flyers and bulletins to post in the lobby of your building and distribute at local gathering places (bus and train stations, malls, etc.)
LET’S PUT THE PRESSURE ON…Don’t be silenced. Do something. Get involved.

Community of Faith Shook by Sex Scandal

BISHOP EDDIE L. LONG IS CHARGED WITH…Breach of pastoral relationship as a “sexual predator,” fiduciary misappropriation as an “unfit agent” of an organization, false representation characterized as “exploitive propensities.”
Bishop Eddie Long is said to have a history of singling out students of his Longfellows Youth Academy for sexual gratification. He’s accused of conducting “covenant” ceremonies with his “Spiritual Sons” to consummate his intercourse with them. During these candle-lit ceremonies, Bishop Long is said to use scriptural citations and bestow jewelry upon young males that are have father hunger.
Among his three accusers are 21-year old Anthony Flag, 21-year old Maurice Robinson and 23-year old Jamal Parris.
In 2001, Jamal Parris and his mother joined New Birth Missionary Church. Within two weeks of joining the mega congregation, Bishop Long gave Parris his personal cell phone number and encouraged him to call him. The lycra wearing Bishop was a charismatic presence with his tight-fitting shirts. Upon hearing of Parris’s disappointment with his father, Bishop Long offered to “protect him and never let another man hurt him like his father did,” according to court documents filed by Co-Counsel(s) Brenda Joy Bernstein (Georgia State Bar No: 054904), James (Jay) Sadd (Georgia State Bar No: 622010), Katherine Ventulett Hernacki (Georgia State Bar No: 727027).
During the 2004-2005 school year, Long began wantonly requesting Parris remain after service awaiting in his private office. He is said to have also taken Parris to his guesthouse on Snapfinger Road to engage in oral sodomy (“salad tossing”), sexual massages (“hand jobs”) and other sexual activity. En route Long would engage in fondling and oral sex with Parris requesting to be called “Daddy.” Long took Parris on trips to Arkansas, Charleston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New Jersey, New York, Orlando, San Francisco, Honduras, Nassau and Trinidad where they shared rooms overnight.

Bishop Long is also accused of engaging in sexual activity with other New Birth parishioners, employees and pupils of Longfellows Youth Academy.
In 2009, Parris began dating a woman and distanced and separated himself from Long. In June 2010, he reached out to his “Spiritual Sons” peers to determine the extent of Bishop Long’s inappropriate activity. Witnesses to his relations with Long include Andrew Momon, Antonio Render and April McGlaughlin.
In addition to being subjected to public scorn and ridicule, Parris’s injuries include severe emotional distress, mental pain and suffering and adverse physical conditions. Parris is seeking punitive damages against Bishop Long, New Birth Missionary Church and affiliated parties.
Bishop Long has responded to these charges, “I feel like David against Goliath. I have five rocks and I ain’t thrown a single one.”
